The Summer Leadership Program (SLP) provides an enriching environment when school is out. SLP helps members broaden their worldview through international study, allows them to explore the city through fun and educational activities, and helps them gain skills for entering the workforce. Each year we adjust and diversify our program offerings to best respond to our members needs.
Our Program Includes:
International Study Program (ISP)
Our International Study Program is a natural continuation of our emphasis on leadership development, Pan-African and Latino history and culture, and global awareness.
Summer Day Camp
For seven weeks after the school year ends, Summer Day Camp gives our youngest members a place to go to have fun and grow in a nurturing environment.
Youth Employment Opportunity (YEO)
Our Youth Employment Opportunity program offers job training and experience for Bro/Sis members who are selected through an intensive screening and interview process.
Our Teen Summer Camp opens up New York City as a source for cultural and educational enrichment for our teens.

"I believe so deeply in the life-saving work that The Brotherhood Sister Sol is dedicated to: values and skills building that empower young people and keep them on course; helping young people to see and develop the extraordinary within themselves; ensuring their safe passage to adulthood. It is surely one of the most incredible organizations in the nation. Their work is catalytic! Their leadership, their services and outcomes are without peer. Simply put, The Brotherhood Sister Sol does the work that few others will or even know how to do…. They have answered the call to repair the village, to secure the children. It’s our responsibility to ensure they have all they need to do God’s work."
"[The Brotherhood Sister Sol] is using their passion to uplift and inspire a next generation through extraordinary work that creates leaders and a sanctuary for children…. where their members can develop a higher vision of themselves."
