Through our comprehensive educational programs, we’re helping young people develop a critical understanding of their history, identity and role in society.
Rites of Passage Program
BroSis’s core political education program, Rites of Passage, empowers young people through the discovery and discussion of their history and culture, and explores the social, economic and political forces surrounding them.
After School Program
Our after school program provides a broad and deep selection of enrichment and education options in a safe space, including homework help, STEM learning, and electives on comic books, art, culture, creative writing, dance and more.
Through our stewardship of the Frank White Memorial Garden, our environmental education center, our youth-run Farmer’s Market and a range of innovative programs promoting environmental activism, BroSis is developing the next generation of urban environmentalists.
Summer Leadership Program
Our summer leadership program broadens young people’s worldview through international study, helps them gain the right workplace skills, internships and jobs, and opens up New York City as a source for cultural and educational enrichment.
College, Career and Wellness
Our college advisory program exposes our 7th to 12th graders to the college experience and supports their successful entry into and achievement in higher education.
