The Brotherhood Sister Sol, alongside partner organizations – including but not limited to: Children’s Defense Fund – NY, Dignity in Schools, Girls For Gender Equity, Integrate NYC, New York Civil Liberties Union – Teen Activist Project, Urban Youth Collaborative, Youth Power Coalition – is hosting a virtual, two-part Mayoral Candidate Forum from 4:30 – 6 PM on Tuesday,  March 16 and Wednesday, March 17.

In this youth-centered forum, we will focus on issues important to NYC youth.

Moreover, the purpose of this forum is to prioritize youth issues and to invite candidates to share their ideas regarding the future of New York City as they pertain to education, mental health, and student support as well as youth criminalization, youth civic engagement, and youth power.

Candidates will answer questions sourced from youth across the city – especially at the aforementioned organizations – submitted via social media or in preceding political education workshops.
