✨ Applications are now open for BroSis’ 2026–2027 school year programming!

We’re excited to welcome young people ages 8–18 into the BroSis community - a place where they can be seen, heard, supported, and encouraged to imagine what’s possible.

At BroSis, young people get more than a place to go after school. They find a safe, affirming community where they can build confidence, creativity, leadership, knowledge, and a strong sense of belonging.

Through after-school enrichment, youth organizing, environmental justice, wellness, creative arts, culinary education, college and career support, and more, young people can explore their interests, build meaningful relationships, find their voices, and lead.

A summer at BroSis is never just about summer. It

A summer at BroSis is never just about summer.

It is about what happens when young people have a place to belong, people who believe in them, and the resources and opportunities to keep moving forward.

Nearly 400 young people spent their summer at BroSis exploring college and careers, earning internships, creating art and music, exploring STEM, building leadership skills, and taking part in experiences that expanded their sense of what is possible.

And the work around them continued: nutritious meals, food and clothing distributions, wellness and mental health support, and resources for young people and families across our community.

What a joy to see the impact of a program carried

What a joy to see the impact of a program carried forward across generations. ❤️

Our Associate Executive Director for Programming & Training & Co-Founder, @JasonWarwin, recently returned to Arembepe, Brazil, to visit our partner organization, @IrmãosUnidosBR, founded in 2010. While there, he reconnected with founding members who were just 11–14 years old when the program first began. Today, they are college graduates, professionals, spouses, and parents.

Since 2013, Irmãos Unidos has been led by dedicated local staff and program alumni. Jason was able to spend time with current members, facilitators, and alumni, and witness the strong sense of family and belonging that continues to define the program.

We are proud to see Irmãos Unidos’s values and impact reaching another generation of youth. What started in 2010 continues to grow, connecting young people across generations through purpose and a shared moral code.
