If you haven't already heard, Bro/Sis is up to major things! We are excited to share that our 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 program's premiere collaboration with the iconic @carriemaeweems & @thepeacepoets - a public art & public health campaign - was installed outside of the @brooklynmuseum this weekend. 𝐓𝐚𝐠 𝐮𝐬 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭! ⁠⠀

The campaign includes our alumni's poetry, The Peace Poets, on the Museum's entry steps, & PSA's featuring their poetry projected onto massive screens in front of the museum. 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 @patch 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐯𝐢𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐢𝐨. ⁠⠀

Come through and support our growing youth-run farmers' market! The market is managed by the young people in our Environmental Program & runs every Weds until Nov 25, providing fresh food to over 2,000 community residents in an area deemed a food desert due to the lack of quality supermarkets and access to fresh produce.

This year, this is in addition to the over 200,000 meals we have provided during weekly food distributions to our youth and our community in response to the #COVID19 crisis. Visit us! 🥦⁠⠀

Nicole is from West Harlem, New York. She currently attends the College of Mount Saint Vincent, pursuing a degree in English, Writing, and Environmental Sciences.⁠
