Planting & Art Weeks

April 26 – May 7, 2021
Daily Activities 3 pm – 6 pm EDT

The Frank White Memorial Garden & The Johnny Hartman Plaza

During Planting & Art Weeks we welcome all to join us in the garden as we plant annuals, perennials, vegetables, and herbs; paint and repair structures, and create art preparing the garden and plaza for spring.

The Brotherhood Sister Sol will hold its annual Planting & Art Weeks, from Monday, April 26th to Thursday, May 7th.

During Planting & Art Weeks we welcome all to join us in the garden as we plant annuals, perennials, vegetables, and herbs; paint and repair structures, and create art preparing the garden and the Johnny Hartman Plaza for spring.

In addition to preparing the garden for the spring and summer, this year we have added an art component, which will include beautification of our spaces, and poetry workshops at the Johnny Hartman Plaza.

Youth Members of our Environmental Program co-facilitate Planting & Art Weeks, and youth throughout the organization participate in the efforts.
