In The City: Dapper Dan & A$AP Ferg Support Harlem Youth with Gap for Giving Tuesday

The event included a surprise appearance by rapper A$AP Ferg, who donated his first Platinum plaques from his hit-song ‘Plain Jane’ to BroSis

This week in Harlem, Dap and Gap hosted an inspiring discussion with the BroSis youth members, a performance by The Peace Poets and a surprise appearance by Dap’s friend A$AP Ferg, to celebrate the launch of the latest Gap Dap hoodies, available online now.

The children received the latest hoodies and can be seen excitedly wearing them as they met Harlem icons, Dap and A$AP Ferg, and learned about their life journeys.

This event was in celebration of the latest hoodie drop from Dapper Dan and Gap, which is now available on Gap.com. The latest limited edition drop comes in 4 new colorways — Red Plaid, Green Plaid, Yellow Plaid and Camel Herringbone — and is perfect for the holiday season.

During Giving Tuesday’s Gap House Session, Dapper Dan led an inspirational discussion with local Harlem youth and Khary Lazarre-White, Executive Director and Co-Founder of BroSis, where they discussed Dap’s personal and professional growth, experiences in Harlem and around the world, and his inspiration for his projects, including Gap’s DAP hoodies. Dap and Khary were then joined on stage by rapper and Harlem-native, A$AP Ferg, to speak to and meet with the BroSis youth members as a surprise guest.
