Earlier this month, our Liberation Program members

Earlier this month, our Liberation Program members designed and facilitated a workshop called “Let’s Talk Liberation: Youth Organizing 101” at the @NewMuseum’s 2026 Youth Summit - a day of healing, art-making, and organizing created for teens, by teens.

This year’s summit theme, STAND UP STAY ROOTED, invited NYC teens to claim their voices and build community power while staying grounded in their identities, cultures, and well-being.

Through the BroSis workshop, participants explored how to identify challenges in their communities, develop collective solutions, and strengthen the skills needed to create meaningful change. Together, they engaged in honest conversations about their school experiences and shared perspectives on safety, justice, and belonging in their learning environments.

Participants also took part in an Imagination Lab, where they examined common school issues - such as dress code policies - and brainstormed creative, community-centered solutions. The workshop also contained discussions on power mapping and the differences between direct and indirect action, equipping young people with practical organizing tools to advocate for change.

We’re proud of our Liberation Program members for creating a safe space where youth could learn, connect, and imagine new possibilities together.

Our 2026 International Study Program cohort is get

Our 2026 International Study Program cohort is getting ready for an unforgettable journey to Ghana 🇬🇭✨

This year, 17 outstanding members representing 8 of our programs have been selected to participate in this transformative experience. Over the past several months, they have immersed themselves in the history, culture, politics, and contemporary issues shaping Ghana through seminars, workshops, discussions, and shared learning.

In just a few days, they'll take their studies beyond the classroom and into the world, engaging directly with communities and history that will deepen their understanding and expand their perspectives.

Our International Study Program is more than travel. It's an opportunity for growth, leadership, cultural exchange, and lifelong learning. We are incredibly proud of this cohort and can't wait to follow their journey in the weeks ahead.
