Tanique Dunkley joins BroSis as the HR Director with more than 25 years of experience in diverse human resources roles, spanning various industries such as higher education, financial services, and management consulting. Tanique’s core competencies include organizational transformation and design, talent management, training, leadership coaching, and creating and implementing innovative solutions that reflect an organization’s mission, vision, and values. Tanique leads with a people-focused approach and passion for empowering staff and leaders to unlock their potential and realize their exceptional Self—a unifying thread throughout Tanique’s career. 

Over the past 10 years as Associate Vice President with Columbia University’s Arts and Sciences department, Tanique helped academic and research programs build administrative teams, develop strong working cultures, and streamline workflows to reflect their mission and function. Engaging social justice and youth programs at Columbia exposed a calling that has been ringing for years with Tanique—whose core professional and personal journeys have been spent building bridges, mentoring, and cultivating achievement in others. Tanique has a reputation for inspiring colleagues to see themselves as parts of creative, empathetic solutions to the toughest problems in high-profile, fast-paced business arenas.

Tanique has been bold in adapting with the times and pivoting to find opportunities that allow an authentic Self to emerge while providing value, hard work, empathy, and joy to esteemed organizations and causes. Tanique grew up in Rosedale, Queens and is a lifelong Mets fan who currently lives in Morningside Heights with her husband Amaury. Tanique is a Prep for Prep-9 alum and received a BA in Art History from the University of Virginia. An avid explorer of the world, Tanique enjoys most sports with a keen interest in anything water related—especially surfing.
