Samantha Welbeck earned her Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Temple University and her Masters in Social Work from Hunter College. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker and has worked as a psychotherapist for Catholic Guardian Services where she has conducted mental health assessments, provided individual, group and family therapy, and crisis intervention, and assisted with navigating clinical services and community linkages.
Previous to her time at Catholic Guardian Services Samantha worked at TheraCare where she provided early intervention services to children with developmental delays, coached parents, and analyzed data. Samantha has also served as mental health counselor and supervisor at Comunlife where she conducted mental health and suicide assessments, provided group and individual counseling and supervised staff as she interfaced with physicians and psychiatrists.
During her career Samantha has coordinated services that include mental health, housing, medical and entitlement services. She is an alumnae of The Brotherhood Sister Sol’s Liberation Program.
