Calvin Demetrius is a dedicated career development professional with over eight years of experience in program implementation, career readiness training, and workforce development. As the Career & Workforce Coordinator at The Brotherhood Sister Sol, he leads initiatives that equip young people with the skills, resources, and opportunities necessary for long-term professional success.
Calvin has a proven track record of creating and expanding career-focused programs, most recently at The Center for Ultrasound Research and Education and Rockland BOCES. He has also played a key role in developing career pathways for underserved communities through leadership roles at Roads to Success and Westchester Community College, where he built partnerships with businesses, educational institutions, and community organizations.
Passionate about mentorship and empowerment, Calvin has helped countless individuals gain economic independence by providing guidance in job placement, entrepreneurship, and professional development. His work aligns with BroSis’ mission to uplift and support Black and Latinx youth through transformative experiences.
Beyond his professional role, Calvin is an active community leader, serving as the founding president of the Young Adult Committee for the NAACP in Spring Valley, NY. His commitment to service, social justice, and career empowerment continues to shape his impact in both professional and community spaces
