This being my second ISP, I have really been able to find myself through various experiences that I have had encountered throughout the time being. From salsa dancing to horse back riding, I have done things that I thought I would never be doing a day in my life. The best part, is being surrounded by people who have became like a family to me. Being in Cuba has allowed me to become more open minded. Instead of being confined to one way of doing things, like a tradition more so, I have been able to think outside the box and formulate new ideas that have benefited me, my peers, and my experience here thus far. Learning more about the country and how they as a nation has struggled for decades, has made me become more sure on what I want to peruse in life. Dealing with foreign problems and trying to correct the polices that restrict countries like Cuba to being the greatest they can be. I can’t just have all this knowledge and do nothing with it, now that I know I must act on it. Everything that I have seen and learned while being here for just a few days, has really taught me the value of life and my purpose for being here. I know that the rest of the trip will be the same and expose me to even greater experiences that I will carry with myself for the rest of my life.

I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else in the world right now, other than right here with all these wonderful people.
