Hundreds of thousands of people from around the world and all walks of life danced, cheered and chanted their way today from the Upper West Side to 34th Street to demand that action be taken against further climate change.
A mix of men, women, children, old, young of many ethnic groups and income levels took part in the People’s Climate March, as corporate chiefs and world leaders prepared to meet Tuesday at the United Nations Climate Summit.
