❄️ Last month, our Liberation Program held their Winter Alum Nite, a wonderful evening with alumni and staff spanning from 2012 to as recent as last summer! The group gathered for a warm meal and shared their individual journeys—some are in undergrad, others are interning, interviewing, or already in the workforce. It was a heartwarming opportunity to connect, both professionally and as a growing family.

This year’s Brotherhood retreat was held at Moun

This year’s Brotherhood retreat was held at Mountain Creek. While engaging in activities, ranging from snow-tubing to putting on a fashion show, members and staff dove into their theme for the year: 'On The Horizon'. They used words from Frederick Douglass, "without struggle, there is no progress," to reiterate the purpose of seizing the moment and not allowing complacency, doubt, or fear to disrupt their holistic development. The weekend was centered around levity, camaraderie, and cross-chapter engagement.

Our team recently hosted a school and community partnership breakfast to reconnect and engage with one another at the start of the new year. BroSis staff shared about the programming we have planned for this year, and heard from community partners about their work. Our partners then hosted resource tables for one another, and held space for networking and engagement with one another. We are grateful for the space to connect and collaborate, as we make strides to think about the year ahead and how we can support our members' continued success and development.
