During Planting & Art Weeks we welcome all to join us in the garden as we plant annuals, perennials, vegetables, and herbs; paint and repair structures, and create art preparing the garden and plaza for spring.

Youth Members of our Environmental Program co-facilitate Planting & Art Weeks, and youth throughout the organization participate in the efforts.
Week 1: April 24 – April 28, Monday – Friday
Week 2: May 1 – May 4, Monday – Thursday
Planting Activities – The Frank White Memorial Garden at 506 West 143rd Street NYC 10031
Art Activities – Johnny Hartman Plaza at West 143rd Street between Amsterdam Avenue and Hamilton Place NYC 10031
Community BBQ – Celebrate spring with us on Friday, May 5th, 3:30 pm – 6 pm ET at the Frank White Memorial Garden.
