Wendy M. DeJesus
Director of Programming
Wendy DeJesus joined the staff of The Brotherhood Sister Sol in 2001. Wendy was initially hired as a program assistant and rose to join the leadership team in 2008. Now in the role of Director of Programming, Wendy supervises the Sister Sol Rites of Passage Program; all elementary aged programming at BroSis, including academic school year length 5-day a week after school care and a 7-week summer camp that consists of 6-weeks of day camp and a one-week sleep away camp; and also supervises the After School Teen Enrichment Program (ASTEP) which focuses on youth development through the arts. Β In addition, Wendy has co-led BroSisβ International Study Programs to both South Africa and Brazil.
Wendy has earned a certificate from Columbia Business Schoolβs Institute for Not-for-Profit Middle Management and Fordham Universityβs Executive Education Program for Non-Profit Management. Wendy is currently enrolled in Β Columbia Business Schoolβs Senior Leaders in Nonprofit Management Program.
Wendy majored in Physical Education Teaching at Hunter College where she began her undergraduate studies. While at Hunter, Wendy was a member of the Womenβs Basketball and Softball athletic teams. Wendy earned a Bachelors of Science in Organizational Management from Nyack College.
