Quanasa Wright is a born and raised New Yorker, and first-generation college graduate. She earned her Masters of Social Work from Columbia University and earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Hunter College.

She has interned for the Children’s Aid Society as a success mentor who implemented strategies to improve chronic absenteeism. She also interned at BroSis where she assisted high school seniors with the college application process and prepared juniors for their final years of high school.

Quanasa’s passion for youth-related work began as a teenager when she volunteered at an after school program at Presbyterian Senior Services as a tutor. She has been devoted to become a part of the change she would like to see in her community ever since.
