Jessica Goetz

Development Associate for Database and Operations

Jessica Goetz, New Jersey native, earned a degree in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Pittsburgh. While there, she also regularly volunteered at various organizations in the city in order to enhance her classroom learning. This also led to her developing a deep love and appreciation for local, community-focused nonprofits and the important work that they do.

After graduation, Jess worked on a variety of political campaigns and eventually landed a casework job with a New Jersey Congressman where she assisted the representative’s various constituents with their federal issues and worked on a successful reelection campaign. Following her time with the congressman, Jess returned to the nonprofit sector and joined the Carl Schurz Park Conservancy. At the Conservancy, Jess planned events and designed campaigns to successfully target new donors and maintain relationships with existing ones, also serving as the database manager for all donations.

In her spare time, Jess gives her time back to her community by focusing on mutual aid work. She is also very interested in gardening with a focus on native plantings.
