Jay Pimentel was born on the Upper West Side and raised in Washington Heights. He joined The Brotherhood Sister Sol while attending Mott Hall High School. As an alumnus of the organization, he participated in many programs like the Rites of Passage Program, Writer’s Collective, & the International Studies Program to Brazil. He gained a lot of industry experience working in various cafes/restaurants in New York City, always picking up new skills to better himself in his administrative duties, customer service, and everyday life. He looks forward to using all the skills he has developed over the years to help shape the next generation of the Brotherhood Sister Sol.
