Born and raised in the Bronx, Jasmine is a first generation college graduate. Earning a Bachelor’s Degree from Monroe College, she has worked primarily in the Bronx and Uptown community for several years.

Jasmine is passionate about social justice and the emotional wellness of teens. She has worked at several non-profits throughout the years that catered to the academic enrichment of underserved communities. She credits her family for her passion when working with underserved communities. Being raised by relatives who were community activists who believed in the redistribution of wealth, upliftment of marginalized people everywhere, and the right to quality healthcare no matter your economic status, selecting this career path was an easy choice.
