Abby Duran is a first-generation Ecuadorian American born and raised in New York City. An alumna of BroSis, Abby graduated from NYU in 2021 with a degree in psychology with a minor in children and adolescent mental health services. Abby gained a passion for working with kids while interning at BroSis and has worked in the BroSis Summer Day Camp (SDC) over two summers and comes highly recommended by our SDC staff. Abby has also worked part-time as a math tutor for 3rd graders; for NYU Langone’s Health Center for Early Childhood Health and Development as a project assistant; and as a research assistant for Columbia University’s School of Nursing. This has been a full circle moment for Abby and she is excited to join us again as a full-time staff member and considers BroSis home.
