Rassey brings years of experience in youth development, mentorship, and community outreach. She has spent her career creating supportive, culturally relevant environments where young people feel seen, encouraged, and empowered.

Most recently, Rassey served as a Program Associate with Trinity Youth Afterschool. She supported daily programming for 150 to 300 participants through academic enrichment, recreation, and advocacy-based initiatives. Rassey has worked to promote self-advocacy, critical thinking, and positive identity development among youth. Rassey is known for her calm, grounded, and patient approach that helps maintain a welcoming, structured environment in fast-paced settings.

Deeply committed to community connections, Rassey has a strong track record of building meaningful relationships with families and local partners. Notably, she initiated a collaboration with the Battery Park Conservancy Stewardship Lab to connect young people with hands-on environmental education and community-based learning.

Rassey is a bilingual Spanish speaker and holds a degree in communications from the College of Saint Rose.
