Most recently, Osiris served as a Program Facilitator at Inspiring Minds NYC, where he acted as a lead facilitator for a pilot “Freedom School” Saturday program. In that role, Osiris designed and taught dynamic Africana and Latinx history curricula to middle and high school students, using culturally responsive tools like rap writing, debates, and class campaigns to spark deep civic engagement. Osiris also taught 8th-grade civics in Astoria, creating brave classroom spaces filled with love, energy, and laughter where young people could safely unpack complex issues around gender, sexuality, and class.

Osiris is a passionate grassroots organizer. He has worked extensively with The People’s Forum NYC, leading youth-centered block parties in the Bronx, serving as a tactical organizer and speaker at community rallies against police violence, and facilitating Know Your Rights immigrant justice training in Brooklyn.

Osiris holds a degree in Africana Studies from Brown University. He has a deep-rooted passion for our wraparound approach to youth development and is eager to dive into everything. Osiris’s dedication to helping Black and Latinx youth emerge as the activists, dreamers, and leaders our community needs aligns with our mission.
