Through culturally responsive culinary programming, BroSis youth receive healthy meals while learning how to cook, nourish themselves, and understand the food systems that shape our communities.

Every shared meal and every workshop helps create healthier futures for thousands of young people and families - while empowering youth leaders to drive change.

This week marked the season opening of our BroSis

This week marked the season opening of our BroSis Green Youth Market!

Since 2013, our Youth-Led Green Market has opened each season with the same belief at its core: healthy food is a right. From May through November, our youth and alum leaders work to bring fresh, affordable, local produce to a community too often impacted by food apartheid and limited access to healthy food options.

Why this work continues to matter:
🌱 Youth leaders gain hands-on experience in leadership and food justice
🌱 Neighbors have access to high-quality fruits & vegetables that should be available in every community
🌱 Families can purchase seasonal produce at low-cost during a time when grocery prices remain high
🌱 The market creates a direct connection between young people and the needs of their community
